Workshop 1: Milonga Sequences in Double Time

Concept 1: Spirals, Circularity and Cuarta Sacadas
Saturday 9th March 2013

2:30pm - 3:15 Afternoon Tea
3:15 - 5:15 Session 2
This concept will examine how spiralling and circularity can offer complexity within your dance particularly explored through the cuarta sacada. The spaces and places for sacadas will open up new ways of thinking about movement in and through your dance.
Concept 2: Building Boleos and Elegant Ganchos

RSL Hall Cnr Craven and Grand Prom, Bedford

2:30pm - 3:30pm Session 2
This concept will develop your understanding of how to lead and follow boleos and then convert them within your dance to ganchos that are low and slow. New ways of thinking about how to harness the free leg of the follower will provide fresh methods of movement in your dance.

Networking Your Tango
TangoSpace is pleased to offer a program of tango with Michelle and Joachim entitled 'Networking your Tango' devoted to exploring the ways in which you can link, connect and integrate your tango into a seamless social dance. One workshop and two concepts will be offered along with opportunities to practice and dance with Michelle and Joachim. We hope you can join us for this exciting series.
