About Me

TangoSpace: TangoSpace is a community of dancers in Perth, Western Australia, one of the most isolated cities in the world. TangoSpace is a place to jam your tango. Come along with an idea or concept you wish to explore. Take your time discovering nuances in the lead and follow. Try new ideas, try new embellishments. When lights are turned low - jam it - work out how to integrate it within your dance. Most of all - have fun. Join us every Wednesday from 7:30pm - 10:00pm $7.00 entry @ The Strand in Applecross for a practica and the second Saturday of the month from 7:00pm - 10:00pm for our milonga. $10.00 entry pre-booked, $15.00 at the door. perthtangospace@gmail.com

Concepts: The rules

1. You must enrol with a partner
2. You must enrol for the full 4 hrs
3. We will supply afternoon tea on Saturday and lunch on Sunday (you may bring your own if you wish)
4. If you do not have a partner but are interested let us know and we'll see what we can do about hooking you up. However, we make no guarantees. Start talking to each other now to find yourself a concept buddy.

Prices

Concept 1: Spirals, Circularity and Cuarta Sacadas $100 per person (early bird $80)
Concept 2: Building Boleos and Elegant Ganchos $100 per person ($80 early bird)
Workshop 1: Milonga Sequences in Double Time $35 per person
Practica $7 per person for drop ins free to attendees of preceding workshop
Saturday Milonga $25 pre-booked $30 at the door
Full package $235 ($200 early bird) Saturday Milonga NOT included.
